We offer one-on-one tutoring, small group sessions (2-5 students), on-going open studio and on-going workshops. All subject specific classes can be enrolled as one-on-one tutorials or as small group classes. All sessions have space limitations. Please contact us for more details.
Our Classes and Rates
1. PRIVATE TUTORING
One on one subject specific tutoring is available by appointment. Curriculum, pacing, and learning style are all personalized and adapted to fit each student’s skills and needs. $90/hr.
2. SMALL GROUP CLASSES
Small groups classes on any topic can be formed for students who prefer some peer interactions and support. Both individualization and socialization can be achieved with this setting of 2-4 students. $60/hr.
3. ALGEBRA I
This is a course covering all of California Common Core Curriculum in algebra I. Topics include solving multi-step equations and inequalities, solving systems of equations and inequalities, linear and quadratic functions, rules of exponents and polynomials. Ideal for homeschool or virtual students who need the exposure and skills for high school credit. Graphing calculator recommended.
4. ALGEBRA II TRIG
This is a course covering all of California Common Core Curriculum in algebra II and Trigonometry. Topics include solving, graphing, analyzing, and transformations of various functions: quadratics, radical, rational functions, polynomial, exponential and logarithmic. Other topics include trig definitions and functions, solving multi-variable systems using matrices, and the study of conic sections. Ideal for homeschool or virtual students who need the exposure and skills for high school credit. Graphing calculator recommended.
5. GEOMETRY
This course covers all of California Common Core Curriculum in geometry. Topics include geometric terms, definitions, notations, and uses, angle relationships, triangle congruence and similarities, polygon definitions and properties, right triangle applications, properties of circles, area and volume. Ideal for homeschool or virtual students who need the exposure and skills for high school credit.
6. NGSS Science
Prepare for the fairly recent New Generation Science Standards with the latest knowledge and skills. We can help deepen your understanding of specific topics in biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering.
7. FOREIGN LANGUAGE
Be a better global traveler and citizen by learning another language. We have teachers to help with Mandarin, Spanish, and French for all of your travel, business, and academic needs.

Come join for a quiet place to study, work on projects or assignments with guidance and support from licensed educators. This relaxed and nurturing atmosphere is ideal for those looking to work semi-independently to improve skill sets based on individual goals. $90/3 hr session.
2. MINDFULNESS PRACTICE with Chinese Calligraphy
Learn the value and benefits of being in the moment and focused with the elegance of Chinese Calligraphy. This practice combines the art of graceful brushwork, proper posture, calm breathing, and concentration to create meaningful Chinese characters and poems for all to enjoy. Ages 12 and up, all levels welcome. Materials available during class and for purchase. $60/2 hr session.
3. ARTS & CRAFTS
Join us for various arts and craft classes offered by local artists and teachers. Topics include leather work, jewelry making, and knitting/crocheting. Exact day/times to be determined and announced throughout the year. Fees vary.
